Grassetti uploaded a collection of Sonic the Hedgehog pieces to Twitter this morning that showcase the series’ main trio — Sonic, Miles “Tails” Prower, and Knuckles the Echidna — in a live-action, realistically furry style that is similar to the new movie’s aesthetic. While the artist is primarily known for his work on the God of War franchise, he’s also apparently very in-tune with Sonic meme culture given that the pictures were followed up with a “do u kno de wae” gif....

The latest God of War was released to critical acclaim and while there was less gore than its predecessors, the game did deliver new emotional weight. Since its release, many have pondered where the new story would lead and how the new ideas which were introduced would be expanded upon. With the deeper character provided in the latest installment, it is no wonder that some fans would like to see a series of content around the story....

God of War 2 was originally released in March 2007, two years after the original game’s release, and was one of the last major releases on the PS2 before Sony shifted its entire focus onto the then-one-year-old PS3 console. It picks up sometime after the end of the first game and sets Kratos on a collision course with Zeus after being stripped of his godhood as a result of the near-constant wars in Greece....

However, while the above examples are truly sights to behold, some of the more memorable and intense encounters to actually play are the one-on-one battles, pitting players against one lethal or two adversaries. These fights are focused less on spectacle and more on locking gamers into relentless fights that test quick reflexes and combat maneuvers. The following battles are the epitome of what God of War and its many boss fights strive to be: action-packed, challenging, and larger than life....

Beyond next-gen capabilities, though, the story of God of War is as interesting to many. The game ends with a teaser that Fimbulwinter has arrived, showing Thor seemingly approaching Kratos’ house. Still, there’s plenty of directions the story could go in, but perhaps the most interesting is that Thor himself could be a symbol of Kratos’ past. With Loki/Atreus being forced to face his own godhood, how Thor and perhaps the Norse God of War Tyr interact with the two may cast a long shadow....

The last game was such a success, and the PS5 has such major performance improvements. The natural progression would be to take advantage of both those things and keep the series going strong by making the next game a release title, or at least publishing the game soon. However, there’s certainly a payoff to be had. Just because it’s known that the game isn’t coming out soon doesn’t mean that the game isn’t coming at all....

Ragnarok looks to continue the story of the tortured Spartan warrior Kratos and his now-older son Atreus, with the pair interacting and battle with a variety of Norse gods. God of War: Ragnarok is said to be the end of the franchise’s Norse storyline, which is somewhat unexpected, as it is only the second Norse game. Still, with the upcoming sequel set to release sometime in 2022, fans have begun celebrating the incoming title by creating some incredible fan art....

According to Reddit user QuimSix, who accurately leaked the PlayStation State of Play date, a God of War: Ragnarok trailer will release at some point in August. They claim to have gotten this information from the same source that leaked the PlayStation State of Play date to them. They also said they “wouldn’t be surprised” if the event with the God of War: Ragnarok trailer also included a new look at the PS5 version of Grand Theft Auto 5....

Yesterday, Sony released a walkthrough-style episode for its “PS Underground” show, which the exploration section of God of War’s large world. While presenting a battle showing Kratos fighting a large troll, the developers take time to reflect on the multiple ways to damage the boss, and how strategy plays an important role in taking down an imposing enemy like this. After defeating the troll - who apparently speaks a “unique language that [Kratos understands]” - the developers move on to talk about collecting loot during exploration....

According to Fox News, Austin Davidson was wanted for four outstanding warrants when Glenn Hilliard encountered him in a Pittsville apartment complex on Sunday night. Glenn Hilliard briefly chased Austin Davidson before Davidson shot Hilliard dead at 8:25 pm ET. After a 2-hour search, Davidson surrendered to local authorities. CNN reported that he has been charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and the use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime....
