Of the many Sony exclusive characters and franchises it has under its belt, Kratos from God of War is considered by many to be one of the most iconic. From his ash white skin, to his tragic story as a character, Kratos is a memorable character that resonates with many in the gaming community. Though, with the arrival of God of War (2018), his character design changed quite significantly, leaving many to wonder what his old self would have looked like in the new game....

Grassetti showed off an impressive-looking piece of Star Fox art on Twitter earlier today in the form of an incredible-looking render of Fox McCloud. Grassetti regularly posts images of his work to social media, which ranges anywhere from God of War concept art, to fan art for popular video game franchises. However, this Star Fox piece is certainly one of his best works. McCloud hasn’t been in many games lately, though Star Fox characters were added to Starlink on Nintendo Switch in 2018....

This isn’t the first time that Grassetti has drawn a Batman cover, with a previous piece starring the Joker previously making headlines for an incredible new interpretation of the DC villain. It’s a big change from the aesthetic of God of War, both the original and the modern series, but still has the hallmarks of the particular artist’s style. The new insight came as a response to a tweet by The Game Awards that congratulated God of War 2 on the fourteen-year anniversary and for having pushed the original title into the huge series it is now. Barlog also elaborated on the process of understanding how to manage a team as a game director with another comedic addition to the original reply. As noted by PlayStation’s social media accounts, the trailer hints at connections to past God of War titles beyond just the continued existence of Kratos. For instance, his son mentions being cursed and how it’s tied to the adventure him and his father now pursue. Kratos says nothing, but it’s obvious that he knows more about the situation than he’s letting on. Then there’s the ancient pottery Kratos stumbles upon, which featured a depiction of Kratos himself on its side with his classic blades held in his hands....

God of War was the eighth entry in the popular, PlayStation-exclusive action-adventure series following the Spartan warrior, Kratos, years after the events of God of War 3. The game follows Kratos and his son, Atreus, as they trek across Midgard to fulfill the final wish of his wife to spread her ashes from the highest peak in the realms. During their journey, the two must survive the dangers of the Norse world while being hunted by Asgardians, searching for something or someone related to Kratos and Atreus’ journey....

The Set encourages players to take an offensive approach during combat since it reduces incoming damage by up to 40% during Kratos’ attacks. GM says the project demonstrates how public and private businesses can come together to build out the country’s EV infrastructure.
