In a conversation with Gamelab in Barcelona, game director Cory Barlog revealed that during the early conceptualization of God of War, some developers felt that it was the right time to let go of Kratos. Barlog explained that Kratos was designed to be an unlikable anti-hero, which made sense during the first three mainline games that started back in 2005. However, as the studio planned to give the series a reboot with 2018’s God of War, some members of the team felt that Kratos would no longer work as the game’s protagonist....

One of the most prevalent that’s got the internet talking, at least in recent times, is a mobile game named Chief Almighty. What makes the downloadable title stand out in particular as a knock-off though, isn’t because its developers have copied God of War’s cinematography, gameplay mechanics, or even its epic mythology-infused plot. Instead, Chief Almighty’s marketing campaign has brazenly utilized the cover art for the series’ 2018 soft-reboot, with only minor adjustments....

Players will easily be able to burn some brambles encountered in the game, but as they progress, they will find brambles that have red flowers on them. The game designates these as Heavy Vines, and they cannot be destroyed like those before them....

Like its predecessor, God of War Ragnarok is a game that features plenty of post-story content. While Odin has been kept a secret for some time now, a recent leak may have revealed the character’s appearance in the upcoming game. Fittingly, each of the drawings on display portray a Norse version of what is more contemporarily known as a zombie or the walking dead....

Fast forward to God of War’s Norse mythology-based adventures, and things are a lot less straightforward when it comes to a final destination.
