Having a complete build dedicated to activating a Realm Shift after another can be so much fun in God of War Ragnarok, especially when Kratos is going berserk on enemies while they’re stuck in time, unable to react to anything.

Radiance Armor Realm Shift Build In God Of War Ragnarok
Having the Gauntlets of Radiance and Belt of Radiance is essential to keep the Realm Shifts activated for longer durations. The Shoulder Straps of Radiance grant Kratos a decent buff to his attacks when he activates a Realm Shift.
Enchantments
Three Muspelheim Enchantments: Increases Kratos’ Melee damage when the Permafrost, Immolation, or Maelstorm skills are fully charged based on his Runic. Three Alfheim Enchantments: Last-second dodges empower Kratos’ next attack based on his Strength. Emblem of the Nine Realms: Increases Melee damage during Realm Shift. Boon of Wrath: Wrath’s activation shockwave consumes Status effects on nearby enemies to cause massive damage. Memento of the Ailing: The Permafrost, Immolation, and Maelstorm skills charge up faster when hitting a Status-afflicted enemy.
Kratos needs the Muspelheim and Alfheim Enchantments to increase his damage since they both scale his attacks with his high Runic and Strength stats. Emblem of the Nine Realms is the true joker of this entire build. Once Kratos activates a Realm Shift, this attachment will greatly buff his Melee attacks, giving his Realm Shifts an extra purpose. Finally, the Memento of the Ailing Enchantment is important for all three weapons’ attachments. It charges their skill gauges faster and in return, players will be able to activate Realm Shifts more frequently.
Weapons
The Grip of the Nine Realms, Pommels of the Nine Realms, and Hind of The Nine Realms all share the same exact passive based on their weapons. Activating Permafrost, Immolation, or Maelstorm will instantly initiate a Realm Shift, freezing enemies in their places. The three weapons’ attachments also increase Kratos’ Runic stats by 26 at max level, which further empowers the three Muspelheim Enchantments.
As for Runic attacks, it is better to depend on quick skills that deal massive damage to provide Kratos with more time to inflict Melee damage. The same idea goes when picking Kratos’ Rage type. Wrath is the best option since it grants him a quick and huge burst of damage, buffed by the Boon of Wrath Enchantment.
Successfully parrying an enemy while wielding the Rond of the Nine Realms has a chance of activating a Realm Shift. The passive’s chances are improved with the decent Luck stats Kratos has from his other attachments. As for the Hilt of Hofud, at max level, it grants Kratos the longest time inside a Realm Shift, without any requirements.
God of War Ragnarok is available now for PS4 and PS5.
