Bosses like Frost Phantom, Garm, Double Dreki, and Thor from God of War Ragnarok all pose a threat. Besides the main story bosses, God of War Ragnarok has many optional bosses that players can fight to keep their combat skills in check. Valkyrie Queen Gna is one such notable enemy, widely regarded as the most brutal boss fight of God of War Ragnarok. She is incredibly agile, swift, and decisive, causing fewer openings and making it difficult to avoid her oncoming assaults. One God of War Ragnarok fan fought Gna, but the encounter didn’t go as planned, as it ended tragically for the player.

Reddit user SmvRGOW uploaded a video on the God of War subreddit showing their nail-biting encounter with Gna, Queen of the Valkyries. The video begins with the user taking charge immediately and going on the offensive by repeatedly attacking Gna. SmvRGOW activates multiple buffs, including Soulless Warrior and Gift of Strength, increasing their overall potency and damage from melee attacks. As a result, each hit from Kratos deals massive damage to the God of War Ragnarok boss.
Valkyrie Queen Gna’s health bar is nearly depleted in only a few seconds after suffering a constant barrage of attacks from the God of War Ragnarok protagonist, who has full HP. However, the tide of the battle changes in moments as the user fails to block a powerful attack from Gna, followed by another devastating strike. SmvRGOW couldn’t survive the two deadly blows from Valkyrie Queen Gna, causing the fight to end disappointingly after a spectacular display from Kratos.
Gna is the deadliest boss in God of War Ragnarok, as the slightest miscalculation can kill Kratos. The video clearly shows how a couple of hits from Gna, Queen of the Valkyries, can be enough to end the battle. Gna is one of Odin’s most devout followers and a skilled combatant who leads the Einherjar in Ragnarok. God of War Ragnarok players can find Gna in Muspelheim, waiting for a final showdown.
God of War Ragnarok is available on PS4 and PS5.
