According to God of War Ragnarok, Tempered Remnants are chunks of Einherjar armor that have fallen from Asgard. Players will have to defeat 10 of these Einherjar enemies to obtain some of the rare Resources. Do note that it exists in limited quantity, hence why players need to choose carefully which armor to upgrade.

How To Get Tempered Remnants In God Of War Ragnarok
To get Tempered Remnants Resources, players must complete The Last Remnants of Asgard Favor in God of War Ragnarok. By going to 10 different camps, Einherjar enemies need to be defeated to open a red chest, which contains the Tempered Remnants. If by any chance the chest is opened before wiping out the camp, the Tempered Remnants will drop from the Einherjar upon defeating them. The location of the Asgardian camps are:
Alberich Hollow In Svartalfheim
Go to The Watchtower Mystic Gateway and head east to the shore Upon reaching the shore, walk northeast and climb the chains Keep climbing the wooden platforms, then use the red hook to reach the other side Go left to find the Asgardian camp
Aurvangar Wetlands In Svartalfheim
Next, travel to Aurvangar Wetlands Mystic Gateway.
Climb the boat and start rowing north to the broken wooden wheel Duck under the wooden beam Keep going north until a small opening appears to the left Go through it to reach the secret area The Remnants of Asgard will be seen as soon as Kratos leave the boat
Jarnsmida Pitmines In Svartalfheim
Head to Jarnsmida Pitmines Mystic Gateway Face north and climb the chain up the ledge Defeat the Asgardian Camp
Near Freyr’s Camp In Vanaheim
From Freyr’s Camp Mystic Gateway, row the boat north Dock the boat near one of Freyr’s Camp entrances Walk forward for a few steps and the enemies will spawn
Eastern Barri Woods In Vanaheim
From the previous Remnants location, enter Freyr’s Camp to the left Exit northeast from inside of Freyr’s Camp in God of War Ragnarok by crossing a bridge Head east upon exiting the camp
Stay on the same path until Kratos goes through an opening in a tree’s roots Push forward to arrive where players previously fought two Drekis The Asgardian camp will be there.
Burning Cliffs In Muspelheim
Head to the Burning Cliffs Mystic Gateway Proceed down the cliffs to the area where players defeated the Fire Phantom (near Surtr’s Forge) Defeat all enemies and open the chest
Near The Well Of Urd In Midgard
For this location, go to the Lake of Nine Mystic Gateway and head northwest.
Once the wolves can’t proceed further, climb the marked ledge Walk a few steps ahead and the enemies will appear
Lake Of Nine In Midgard
From the last camp, return to the same Mystic Gateway, Lake of Nine Head east to one of the round buildings of Tyr’s Temple in God of War Ragnarok Use the elevator to go up The Asgardian enemies can be found along the path
The Strond In Alfheim
To get the Remnants here, players must head to The Strond Mystic Gateway in Alfheim, and proceed east and climb the marked ledges.
Squeeze between the two walls south to continue the journey.
Continue southwest until two large crystals appear Go right and climb the wall and continue the path The enemy camp will be found along the way
The Barrens In Alfheim
Fast travel to The Canyons Mystic Gateway Use the sled to keep going east to The Barrens Players will eventually reach a path blocked by rocks
Circle around the rock from the left then jump over a marked stone The Stinnr and Sterker mini-bosses will be on the other side
Note that completing the Secret of the Sands Favor in God of War Ragnarok will make Alfheim’s exploration much easier.
