The new artwork depicts various popular Batman villains created with incredible detail, featuring popular characters like Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and more. With a new Batman game presumably 0n the horizon, thanks to plenty of teases by Warner Bros., seeing art like this pop-up is sure to get fans imaging what a potential game could look like.

While no new Batman game has been announced, Warner Bros was reportedly planning a show for E3, where a new entry, presumably, would have been announced. While fans can only guess as to when– or if– an announcement will be made, it’s been quite a few years since a new entry in the series was released. Given that, and the popularity of the Batman franchise, it seems likely that a new game is only a matter of time.

Grassetti is also working on the Joker, which should be equally cool to see. The Joker is Batman’s most prominent villain, featured heavily in all manner of Batman media, from movies to comics to video games. Given the quality of these pieces and Grassetti’s previous work, it’s fair to say that the artist’s rendition of the Joker will be equally impressive.

Seeing fans, even those with roots within the game industry, create artwork of such a high caliber is impressive, to say the least. If anything, it’s a testament to just how much of an impact these characters have had on pop culture as a whole– something not many properties can claim.

Hopefully, Grassetti will continue to show more artwork in the future. Seeing other artists’ takes on popular characters and franchises is always great to see, as it offers a look at what could potentially become of the characters in the future. Hopefully, whatever new Batman game currently in the works takes inspiration from art like this, giving the games even more of a comic book feel.
